British Columbia’s Jamison Isaak is best known for the pastoral synth pop of his Teen Daze project, and also records under other pseudonyms like Pacific Coliseum and Two Bicycles. Now he’s stripping things down for a four-track EP under his own name, with piano alone as his sole paintbrush, along with pedal steel guitar from Jonathan Anderson, who featured on the Teen Daze track “Anew” from Themes for Dying Earth. It’s a peaceful dip into the neo-classical genre for Isaak, an ephemeral soundtrack for staring out the window and dreaming.
