Matthew Cooper’s latest album as Eluvium, False Readings On, explores cognitive dissonance in today’s society, a heavier theme than many of his releases. To go along with “Regenerative Being,” one of the album’s standout tracks, Ukrainian director and animator Stas Santimov has created an incredible seven-minute short film. The characters are beautifully drawn, some masked, some faceless, wandering about in a bleak world that’s honestly pretty creepy, but beautiful too. As bizarre and abstract as it is, it feels all too relatable. Watch the haunting video below.
