Air Shaper – Dead Slow EP

Montreal’s Exist Strategy, one of the internet’s best not-so well-kept secrets, is as versatile as they come, his compositions ranging from humble ambient to menacing dubstep. Lately he’s set that moniker aside and started releasing music as Air Shaper, with the focus hovering over the gentler side of things. Using only piano, occasional guitar, and other sounds, he creates miniature melancholy worlds to get lost in. His latest, the Dead Slow EP, narrates a time in his life in which he was “tired, unproductive, peaceful. As if I was in a boat that came to a dead slow.” We’ve all been there, and these tracks will help us all through those depressing winter months that are fast approaching.
