Matthew Cooper announces new volume in Eluvium’s ‘Life Through Bombardment’ box set series

Matthew Cooper’s Eluvium project has been going for over a decade now, and he’s given us an abundance of sweeping ambience and heart-wrenching piano elegies in that time.  In 2009, he compiled his first four albums and a few EPs as Life Through Bombardment, a beautifully packaged, 7xLP vinyl box set.    While Cooper’s recent announcement of Bombardment Vol. 2 is a pleasant surprise, it’s about that time again, isn’t it?  Volume 2 will compile Similes, Static Nocturne, and Nightmare Ending, along with Wisdom for Debris and Curious Things, a collection of unheard material.  It’s out December 18, check out a trailer for the release below, and head over to Temporary Residence Ltd. to pre-order.
